following Privacy Conditions are based on standard 2026 media guidelines
and documented station practices.

through contest entry forms, giveaway registrations, or listener

numbers, and mailing addresses.

provide updates on promotions, and improve the website's user
experience.
• Automated Tracking: The station uses cookies and statistical
software to gather non-identifiable data about website traffic,
audience size, and usage patterns to enhance functionality.

• No Sale of Data: WCHI does not sell, trade, or transfer personally

They are prohibited from soliciting passwords or private personal

• Staff Transitions: As of 2025, team members from sold affiliate
stations in Atlanta, Pasadena, and Indianapolis have transitioned to
the Chicago station under these unified privacy standards.
4. Communications and Opt-Out Rights
• Marketing Permissions: By registering, users give permission for
WCHI or its professional partners to contact them via email or text.
• Opt-Out: Users may unsubscribe from email updates at any time via
provided links. For SMS campaigns, users can text STOP to be
removed from future communications.
